Not with some of the younger set. They'd be hard pressed to tell you who 
or what Benny is/was. Same for Dr. Samuel Mudd.

I have pretty catholic tastes when it comes to that sort of thing - 
whisky, whiskey, tequila, brandy, wine, beer ... anything but gin.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Mud Cake
 Categories: Desserts, Snacks, Cakes, Chocolate, Nuts
      Yield: 9 Servings
 
     80 ml Cocoa powder
    150 g  Dark chocolate; melted
    150 g  Light butter; melted
    300 ml Brown sugar
    100 g  Ground almonds
      4 lg Eggs; separated
 
  Preheat oven to 325oF/160oC.
  
  Coat an 8" (20 cm) square cake pan with cooking spray
  or oil.
  
  Combine the cocoa with 80 ml of hot water in a large bowl.
  Stir until smooth.
  
  Add the melted chocolate and butter, plus the sugar and
  almonds.
  
  Stir in the egg yolks one at a time.
  
  Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold the
  egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
  
  Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about
  75 minutes or until firm.
  
  Remove the cake from the pan and decorate as desired!
  
  Makes 9 servings
