I never cared for their beisbol team - Pete Rose notwithstanding. But, I was
somewhat a fan of the Bungles when I was sorta-kinda following pro-feetball. I
knew All-Pro tight end Bob Trumpy who was a stellar basketball player, leading
my old high school to back-to-back state titles in the face of the Chicago
Public School League teams that usually won the state title - most years. I
never imagined him playing pro football - even though he did play on the
Springfield High School eleven.

Only way I get a headache from brewski is if I overindulge and pay the piper
next day. There is something in Falstaff (as it was brewed/sold around here)
that always gave me the hiccups. But, that's sort of moot as Feelstiff is now
just a label owned by Pabst. The last Fallflat brewery (in Ft. Wayne, IN) was
closed in 1990.

I class Corona with the short-lived Zima. Not even good horse pi$$. I know a
lot of Mexicans and none of them drink Corona. Just as none of the Jamaicans I
know (both of them) will touch Red Stripe.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Falstaff Steak
 Categories: Beef, Marinades, Wine, Citrus
      Yield: 2 servings

           Steak; sirloin preferred but
           - even good for eye of round
    1/4 c  Butter; melted
    1/2 c  Red wine
           Juice of a lemon
      1 tb Garlic powder
      1 ts Accent (MSG)
      1 tb Worcestershire sauce
    1/3 c  Teriyaki sauce
           Salt & pepper

  Melt butter and mix all ingredients.

  Marinate Sirloin steak at room temperature for 2 to 3
  hours, coating both sides.

  Grill steak slowly, basting with marinade several times.

  Added by Anne Deguc - This marinated steak recipe came
  from the Boar's Head restaurant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
  (long since closed). My aunt talked it out of the chef.
