I take it he was driving...?  Even if he was the passenger, the
attention should of course been on the training, not the phone...  There
are very few things that are so important that they can't wait until a
little later...  I found it mildly amusing to see all the signs now on
major interstates announcing how far to the next text stop, until I
thought about how necessary the reminder is to too many people that the
texting can wait until one isn't driving...  My last trip there were
solar signs constantly reminding people "Don't text while driving, it's
the law"...  My cell phone might be on, but it can wait...

Well, that would make it a bit unnecessary, wouldn't it... ;)   Maybe
just make your own account luddite at your own domain....?  ;)
