Apparently it was recessive on both sides of her heritage... her mom
probably had it from your grampa, and her dad must have had it somewhere
in the heritage...

That does deter some from investigating.... others go LOOKING for the
ones hanging on it... :)

On my mom's side, I have a cousin who became a grandmother at 32 or
maybe as late as 34 or 36... gave great-grands to that grandma at an
earlier age...  :)  She wasn't even close to the oldest grandchild,
being about 13 years younger than me...  ;)  I think one of my nieces
had already produced the first great-grand on that side... I'd have to
go look it up to be sure of the dates...  ;)
