I'm inclined to think that humor has a pure form and a corrupted form,
with what you see as historical as more of a perversion of what it
should be...  The ability to laugh at oneself, and to find the good in
things is a good gift...  Using it to belittle others is a perversion.

Perhaps, given where we now stand...  But I think it still useful to be
able to acknowledge and appreciate good humor... to say nothing of it
being healthful...  :)

Perhaps I'll take another look at exactly what my numbers were
measuring...  :)

Ah... more an un-birthday...  ;)  or a celebration after/before the
fact...  :)  I don't pretend to keep atop of when the real dates are...
gave up on that for much of my own family, even, big as it is...  ;)
