 RH> Depends on the chef.

As well as the herb/spice and the dish. Still, a good chef should be
able to grab either a good sized or small pinch of whatever he needs.

 RH> It's possible but I think the results would be the same.

Obviously, not a problem that needed to be resolved yesterday. Still, 9
years is a bit too long to just sit on it.

-> We've still got some of the green stuff. Popped it into a green bag for
-> a few days as we made a fast trip up to NY. All of my siblings were able
-> to get in to be with my folks for a few hours--first time in about 14
-> years. Probably the last time while both of them are alive but we all
-> had lunch together on Friday, in the care facility where Mom is. She's
-> no longer able to get out for home visits.

 RH> Sounds like fun.   Sort of.

It was good to do an "eyes on" check of both parents; this was our first
trip up there since last October. Quite a bit of obvious deterioration
for Dad, not as obvious, but still some noticeable for Mom. We'd not
seen my older brother in about 4 years; he looks like he's got some
major health issues going on but (on his own admission) he's not been to
a doctor in years.

We may be in the 40s tomorrrow morning. A front blew thru yesterday,
with a tornado in Durham, but cooled us down quite a bit. Also dumped
several inches of rain over the afternoon/evening. We were out during
some of it but got home well before it ended. Should be a pretty day for
the farmer's market tomorrow.
