Quite agreed.  If I can choose, I'll choose Bings... I don't mind the
maraschinos though.  I've been known to just eat them out of the jar. 
Turkey Hill cherry vanilla uses Bings, and real vanilla bean... at least
in their All-Natural version...  :)  We have a carton of that in the
freezer at the moment...  :)
