My current (Pantech) phone is about the size of a bar of Kirk's Castile soap 
when the QWERTY keyboard is slid into its normal position (out of sight). Some 
of the phones that came along shortly after the first bag and/or brick phones 
were substantially thicker - which is likely whence came the "Dove Bar" 
comparison.

I used to do that before I had Bluetooth - drove my manager wild. But, as I 
told him, "I've never wrecked one of your trucks - and I don't plan to start 
now."

And that's what those phones - indeed, any phone, is for. Your personal 
convenience. I mind, back in the day, I was having a discussion with a friend 
and my house phone rang. I ignored it and continued with the point I was 
making. He asked "Aren't you going to answer that?".

To which I replied, "I'm talking to you right now."

"But, it's ringing." he observed.

"If it's important, they'll call back. That phone is for *my* convenience, not 
theirs." I don't think he ever got a grip on that attitude.

I think I noted that substitution on the recipe - as well as the waxy 
potatoes.

When I have used leg quarters (4 of them) in that recipe I have left them 
intact - with one quarter to each diner. Usually when I separate leg quarters 
for cooking/serving I leave the backbone and its liverish component with the 
thigh portion .... like Popeyes and Kentucky Fried Colonel do theirs.  Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Classic Spinach Dip
 Categories: Dips, Greens, Dairy, Vegetables
      Yield: 4 cups

 13 1/2 oz Can Popeye's spinach
     16 oz Carton dairy sour cream
    3/4 c  Mayonnaise
    1.4 oz Pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix
     16 oz (2 cans) water chestnuts;
           - drained, chopped
      3    Green onions; chopped

MMMMM--------------------------DIPPERS------------------------------
           Raw vegetables
           Chips or crackers
           Cut out bread bowl w/bread
           - chunks

  Drain the spinach well; mix with the remaining ingredients
  for the dip until well blended. Cover and chill for
  several hours before serving.

  Serve with raw vegetables, chips or crackers, or in a cut
  out bread bowl with bread chunks for dipping.

  Makes 4 cups
