interesting... would that be SYS3175??

in my configuration, i get PDUMPs and entries in POPUPLOG.OS2... i see them
from all kinds of software that runs or is used constantly on the OS2 side of
my system...

UNIQ.EXE  (as above with CUT.EXE)
SORT.EXE  (as above with CUT.EXE)
PERL.EXE  (v5.8.0 - used for some automated processing and HTTP GUI pages)
M2D2.EXE  (FrontDoor MSG2DIR/2 tool for moving files to filebox directories)
GREP.EXE  (as above with CUT.EXE)
HSTART.EXE (tool to start another task on the other side of the OS2/DOS fence)
DIFF.EXE  (FPC v2.6.4 tool for line differences in two text files)
HWAIT.EXE (companion to HSTART - waits on a semaphore signal)

those are from the latest 100... every one of them has the exact same error
report, too...

lines 1 and 2 are always different except for the SYS3175 in line1... every
thing else is exactly the same... but i've never had them lock the process...

the only thing i have doing anything close to a lock as you describe is 4DOS
having problems with OLMS swapping out to PKZIP to archive offline mail for my
users... no other programs are having this problem swapping... 4DOS says that
memory is corrupt and to restart the task or reboot the machine if it is plain
DOS and no multitasking... it never even gets to trying to load PKZIP at all...
it "locks" that DOS task with 100% CPU load which i have to close and then
start that task again after clearing the useron.bbs file...


i guess i should post a recipe after all that ;)

let's see 67 lines in the post and the time is 13:17 so... 797 minutes since
midnight plus 67 lines gives me recipe #864...

 
MMMMM----- Recipe via UNREGISTERED Meal-Master (tm) v8.02
 
      Title: DAIQUIRI SOUFFLE
 Categories: D, E, S, S, E
      Yield: 4 servings
 
    1/2 c  Cold water
      4 ea Large eggs, separated
      1 ea Rind of lemon and lime
      2 tb Lemon juice
      1 c  Whipped cream
      1 tb Unflavoured gelatin
    3/4 c  Sugar
      2 tb Lime juice
      4 tb Light rum
 
  Put water in a pan.  Sprinkle gelatin on top; let stand at least 5
  minutes. Beat egg yolks and sugar together until pale and fluffy.
  Add lime and lemon rind; mix to blend.  Cook gelatin mixture over low
  heat until dissolved.  Add egg yolk mixture; cook gently, stirring
  constantly, 3 to 5 minutes.  Don't let mixture boil or it may curdle.
  Remove from heat; stir in rum, lemon and lime juices.  Cool until
  just beginning to gel. This can be hastened by setting bowl on bed of
  ice.  Stir occasionally to prevent jelly forming.  Whisk cream in
  bowl until soft peaks form. Fold whipped cream and beaten egg whites
  into gelatin mixture. Pour into prepared dish. Chill.  Decorate with
  whipped cream, violets, and lime slices.
