That sounds like a great vacation :) We are, btw, finally coming to the end of
the reconstruction of our house in Windsor...  I mention this because the two
of us thought the contractors did such a splendid job of restoration, I at
least actually considered moving back there Lol  It is beautiful, wood floors
all completely restored, other floors tiled with ceramic tiles.  Drop ceilings
all new.  Now to sell it!! This week we meet with the real estate agent.  We're
hoping it goes very quickly and will price it so it moves as fast as possible.

===Italian Bread===
This is a simple recipe for a good Italian bread.  The egg wash provides a rich
golden color.  For the traditional crust, you can spray the interior of the
oven with water during the first 10 minutes of baking.

3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/8 cups warm water
1 1/2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons yeast
1 egg, beaten
1 Tablespoon water
Sesame seeds
Cornmeal

Add the yeast to the warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes.  Add the oil,
salt and brown sugar to the yeast.  Put the flour in a mixing bowl, and add the
yeast mixture.  Knead the dough for 10 minutes.

Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours.  Punch the dough down and
knead for a few minutes to redistribute the yeast.  Flatten the dough out into
a rectangle and shape the loaf by rolling it up a little at a time, pinching
and pressing the dough as you roll.  Shape the ends and use the heel of your
hand to seal the loaf on both ends.

Brush the loaf with water, and cut a few slashes in the loaf.  Let it rise
again for about an hour.  Finally, brush the loaf with the egg and cover the
loaf with sesame seeds.

Bake at 375F  for about 25-30 minutes.
