Not necessarily all full symphony stuff. Last evening I was on the way home and
Channel 67 (Real Jazz) was playing some very dissonant avant garde(ish) stuff I
didn't care for - so I flipped to Channel 4 (40s on 4) but found Bob Eberle
warbling something and moved over to Channel 76 (Symphony Hall) and was treated
to Bach's Goldberg Variations on solo piano. I got in after the start so I am
unsure who the piano picker was. Or where it was recorded - but it may have
been Maybach Recital Hall. When I got home I sat in the car for a couple
minutes just listening ... but, didn't hang around to the end. So, without
going to the SXM web site and investigating the play list ... I still dunno who
was guilty of the nice music or from whence it came.

I'm more familiar with Glenn Miller's version from the 40s on 4 channel. Miller
recorded it in '42. The opera was Verdi's 1853 "Il trovatore". He was also
guilty of Aida.

Mine as well - but, I don't have the rigid stick up my fundament that she
seemed to have the few times I listened. Nothing like a lone piper doing
Amazing Grace at a funeral to raise the hair on the back of my neck. Which is
why, when I snuff it, there will be a Dixieland band doing "Didn't He Ramble"
at my wake.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Elderflower Champagne
 Categories: Five, Beverages, Citrus
      Yield: 1 gallon

      2    Heads elderflower
  1 1/2 lb White sugar
      2 tb White-wine vinegar
      1 ga Water
      1    Lemon

  Pick the Elderflower heads when in full bloom and put into
  a bowl followed by the lemon juice, cut up rind (no white
  pith), sugar and vinegar. Add the cold water and leave for
  24 hours. Strain into strong bottles, cork firmly and lay
  them on their sides. After two weeks it should be ready to
  drink. This is a summer drink, rather like lemonade.

  Yield: 1 gallon
