We stopped because it was only a couple weeks after my diabetes
diagnoses and we were trying to stay on a fairly regular schedule for my
meals. Crossing into NC put us into Eastern Time; we'd been on Central
Time and lost the hour so had to get something before it got much later.

Eventually, yes. May stop there on one of our trips in the not too
distant future.
