It's the rare person who reaches even the quarter century mark without
at least one life issue, whether it be health or otherwise. And, the
saying goes, "............after age (insert 40, 50, etc), life is
nothing but patch, patch, patch".

Probably a much larger operation in your area. M'ville has a population
of around 800, surrounding towns are even smaller. M'ville has a
hospital, nearest one otherwise is 25 miles away. Mearest good sized
ones are 45/50 miles away. So, the food is probably better in the
smaller facility, even if they have to have it cooked next door and
brought over.

By then you were an old hand at it. Your mom probably appreciated it
more than you realised at the time.

It was pretty bad here last week, finally broke Saturday night. Today
has been rainy and in the low 70s--good day to stay in. We had the
deconstructed lasagne for supper tonight, with a lettuce, tomato and
yellow squash salad. Had an e-mail from Don, they got home Friday night
after a busy week in Florida.
