A critical situation all round.

Luckily (perhaps) my problems are likely to go only
the one way, so diagnosis and treatment are easier.

I suppose. We have to remember that human civilization is
fairly young, and science even younger, and sophisticated
data collection only a century or two old.

When they figure out that not everybody's system does the
same thing as the norm, they might start doing more mindful
research.

I've done quite a number of virus checks of various brands,
and nothing has come up. I suppose that there should be a
virus checker that doesn't depend on the operating system
(booting from its own device), but I don't have such.

A warning, though, regarding my cooking. I've been known
to actually put apple in a stock, a non-vegetarian one.

He had a restaurant in the Boston area called Blue Ginger,
which name might incline me to go there, but he's a Yalie,
which might cancel that out, and besides Nicholas tried it
and found it wanting.

TOMATO - KAFFIR LIME SALSA
Categories: Asian fusion, celebrity, condiment
Yield: 8 c

6 lg ripe tomatoes, 1/2" dice
2 md red onions, 1/4" dice
12 kaffir lime leaves, stemmed and minced,
- or the grated zest of 3 limes
6 limes, juice of
1/4 c soy sauce
3 red jalapenos or 4 serranos, stemmed and minced
1/2 c extra-virgin olive oil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

In a large nonreactive bowl, combine the tomatoes,
onions, kaffir lime leaves, lime juice, soy sauce,
peppers, and olive oil and mix gently. Season with
salt and pepper.

Use or store. Lasts two weeks, refrigerated.
