You aren't that far away; I should think you've got it in the stores.
Probably Wegman's (I know they've got lobsters) has it, just have to
check around.

Never would have thought that so much salmon would be over there. Wonder
if it's flown in for tourists or what--I can't think it's native to the

Our first exposure was good--at a cannery converted to a restaurant,
entertainment arcade, etc. It had a carousel that was (relatively)
inexpensive--on a new PFC's budget--to ride so we treated the girls
every so often.

Having an avocado tree in our back yard in HI, you would have thought
we'd have it a lot, but not really. We generally split the avocadoes and
ate them "as is", with a bit of salt.

Cooking--more mock Chinese, eating--usually a local small place (where
we do take out more often). The others we've never tried cooking but
have eaten both Indian (good place in Raleigh) and Thai (but not since
HI) but not Cajun. From what recipies I've read, I know Cajun would
taste good but just never gotten into cooking it and haven't found a
Cajun restaurant around here.
