Probably not.

1. The gas was off and the food put away.
2. The cook wasn't there, and the rest of the folks had
stuff to do (the waitress was also the busgirl and also
was mopping the floor in her copious spare time).
3. Bad precedent, probably the most important reason.
4. Likely contrary to protocol set by the management.
5. Everyone except some of the patrons was hoping to
get out of there soon; this was obvious.

Different situation, because it's the proprietor's call,
especially if they were doing the work.

All the layers were the same flavor, i.e., sort of lime
cheesecake.

I'm beyond blackmail, I think.

Vasua Vakamiti-Giant Clam in Coconut Milk
cat: seafood, game, main
yield: 1 lg batch

2 giant clams (approx 4-5 lb), chopped 1"
2 c coconut milk
1 sm onion, diced
1 Tb chilies, diced (or to taste)
2 Tb cilantro, minced
2 lemons, juice of
sea salt

Wash clams thoroughly and chop accordingly. Place in a medium
sauce pan and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a
boil cooking for 8-10 min. Once cooked, drain and cool.

Combine coconut milk through salt and stir to combine. Add
more of any ingredient to your liking, the measurements need
not be exact. Pour coconut mixture over cooked giant clam.
Serve with boiled cassava.
