Atavan, maybe?  Does wonders for relaxing all sorts of things... and
supposedly pretty harmless to boot...

 DD> sizes and a *very* inflamed gall bladder.

Oh I remember that well... and the mixed feelings of triumph that I did
have something valid to have been causing pain (despite a therafter
rejected doc's diagnosis that I'd been poking myself on the way over to
make it hurt), and of "OUCH"...  Mine's long gone, now, thankfully...

 DD> Removing the gall bladder is "band-aid" surgery - except I have this
 DD> pacemaker and a stent. So, on Wednesday next I will be getting set up
 DD> at Dr. Rey's clinic and coordinated with my cardiologist. 

May it all go very well...  :)   And survive until then..  ;)

Sleeping's a good thing... helps healing and coping...  No appetite
could be partly result of meds... did you get anything else out of the
ordinary...?  It could also be a side effect of your own body's attempts
at pain control...

 DD> Even coffee doesn't taste good. FEH! What's up with that? And I surely
 DD> don't want to eat anything greasy that might toss me back into the
 DD> emergency room. 

Good luck with that...  If your cayenne doesn't set off stuff, it could
help you with things tasting better... :)
