I think he's somewhat discouraged at this point.

Yes, but he has to see it and recognise that there are appointments
written on it. Not fixing his meals, he's not going into the fridge that
much any more so doesn't always think to look for a calendar and
appointments.

Still going thru and figuring what else will work for us.

Yes, and recharge the mental battery for the next day. I'm trying to get
Fido done so I can wind today down at a decent hour.

Some procrastination, some judicious postponment, some juggling and
letting a ball or two drop...........................
