So what did the wheels come up with? I did corned beef yesterday but
tossed out the cooking water. I know, it was the day after the
traditional day, but I wasn't around all afternoon on the 17th and was,
on the 18th. It ended up being falling apart tender.

As usual. Steve calls me an animal magnet the way they gravitate toward
me, looking for attention.

I had one instructor here who had the class meet in her house (an older
widow), around the dining room table. Her small dog liked the (empty)
cheap water bottles for toys. That was the class where I learned how to
cut up a wedding cake and got to put the learning into practice at a
wedding a couple of weeks later.

I'm not sure what he's eating but he sounded pretty good last night.
Between the ice storms (cancelling Wed. night service) and his being
sick, he missed 4 Wed. nights & was kidding that maybe we should have
introductions.

We've got some maple and juniper in the mix now as well. Right now it's
in the low 50s, with a cold rain so the pollen is being washed out of
the air. We went down to Raleigh earlier but got back before the rain
started.
