It's interesting, reading about the various herbs and spices. For
instance, something as common as cinnamon, most people don't realise how
many types there are. They also have a good number of blends available,
both with salt and salt free.

I go bulk for some things, others I'll buy the bottle/jar. Some things
stay fresher longer, when in bulk quantities, than others. Plus, the
turn over on some is probably not as fast so better to buy in a sealed
container than a bulk dispenser.

Yes, that too. I've got the door shelves in my fridge top freezer filled
with various herbs and spices, more in the big freezer.

Good idea, but you've got to get enough that it registers on the scale
when weighed. (G)

Less sugar overall that way too. Sometimes smaller quantities are better
in the long run.

A good number of desserts and salads, plus deviled eggs were contributed
sides. I brought broccoli salad, same recipe as I made the one at the
picnic last year. We brought some home but it's gone now.
