There is that issue. I see so much that has been
definitively discredited by scholarship but then
recredited by Internetional acclamation, as it were.
Balti food? Who cares if it is southern as can be,
let's say it's from this largely unknown mountain
province up north, that's more exotic and nobody
will know the difference.

If people lie about stuff enough, it becomes next
year's history.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't have the energy to go
beyond the surface here but am inclined to be
skeptical on this.

That looks, I'm not sure, either horribly weird or
perversely fusional or pocs tok ano or some combination.

I used to do that, not mixed drinks necessarily but
wine or beer. Can't afford to do that any more, plus
I generally know what I like. As all the beers available
here that I haven't had before have names like Bull Dog
and Chelada, I've deemed the effort not worth the effort.

2 oz METAXA 5 STARS
0.6 oz grapefruit
0.15 oz Cointreau
1 Tb chestnut marmalade
2 seeds fresh cardamom
1 ds smoked salt solution
- (1 part smoked salt, 5 parts water)

Muddle the cardamom seeds in a tin, then add ice and
the remaining ingredients. Shake hard. Double-strain
in a chilled martini glass.
