Mo's bacon bar. I reported on it here: not super-impressed.
And I tried to find the chocolate-coated bacon stand at the
Alaska State Fair a couple years ago but was waylaid by the
oyster stand (tasteless oysters, bah).

Are they frozen fresh or frozen reconstituted dried?

Marmie's Baked Brown Beans and Ground Beef
categories: casserole, main, potluck
Yield: 4 L, 16 to 20 servings

3 onions, diced
2 lb ground beef
1 Tb olive oil
1 ts salt
1 ts black pepper
1 ts garlic powder (or 2 crushed fresh garlic)
2 ts crushed red pepper flakes
6 cn (14 oz ea) baked beans in tomato sauce
2 1/2 ts dry mustard
1 Tb Worcestershire sauce
1 c ketchup
- can add some A1 or BBQ sauce if desired
1 c brown sugar, packed (M says omit)

Brown together ground beef and onion in olive oil with salt,
pepper, chili, and garlic. (adjust to your taste).

Add beans, worchestershire, mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar
- combining well.

Place in oven proof casserole and bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hr
untill heated through and a bit crispy on the edges.
