It can be a bit much sometimes. I note that Waldo's has the new phone line
installed. I've not had a problem getting on since he did that. Now if he'd fix
the OLR part. Sean's Outpost fried the hard drive I sent him (brand-new, in the
box) right after he flipped the switch to change over. Bummer that he lost all
that work.

Hopefully they will remain in place. That's the plan as I understand it.

It's a good, mid-range "quick-serve" or "casual dining" place. I got talked
into trying one of my local Denny's locations the other day. I went somewhat
reluctantly considered my last dozen or so experiences. I was gabberflasted.
The place was clean and well-lit. They had one of my old time favourites back
on the menu (the Superbird) and the service was friendly, with a smile. The
owner/manager came around while we were eating - and I recognised that when she
was a teenager she used to be one of the servers at that store.

I'll go back ..... to that store. I just wish they had the British Burger back
as a menu item.

MMMMM Recipe via Meal Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Denny's Superbird
 Categories: Poultry,Cheese, Pork, Vegetables
      Yield: 1 sandwich

      3 oz Deli-sliced turkey 
      2 lg slices sourdough bread
           Butter; softened
      2 sl Processed Swiss cheese
           Salt
      2 sl Bacon; cooked
      2 sl Tomato

MMMMM-----------------------ON THE SIDE-----------------------------
           French fries
           Pickles
 
  Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Grill the
  stack of turkey breast in the pan without separating the
  stack until the meat is golden brown on both sides.

  While the turkey is browning, butter one side of each
  slice of soudough bread. Place one slice of bread in the
  pan, buttered side down.

  Place the 2 slices of Swiss cheese on the unbuttered side
  of the bread grilling in the pan.

  Put the stack of turkey breast slices on the Swiss cheese.
  Sprinkle with a bit of salt.

  Place the cooked bacon on the turkey breast.

  Stack the tomato slices on the bacon next.

  Top off the sandwich with the remaining slice of sourdough
  bread. Be sure to place the bread with the unbuttered side
  facing the tomato slices.
