What DOSbos gives me when I fire it off is "Loading primary settings from
config file c:\Users\Uncle Dirty Dave\AppData\Local" etc. Then I enter (on the
blue screen) mount c c:\muncher (my Meal Muncher directory) and jump through
the hoops after bringing up MM.

I have tried mounting the directory that contains the MMconv program - and it
mounts just fine. A plain old "dir" command will list the contents of that
directory - telling me (beyond the DOSbox message) that I have mounted the
thing successfully. It should run AFAICS.

      Title: Bento Box Twinkie Sushi
 Categories: Desserts, Fruits, Candy
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      4    Pieces green fruit leather;
           - in 1"-wide strips
      6    Twinkies; in 1" pieces
           Assorted dried fruits; in
           - small pieces
           Assorted chewy fruity
           - candies
      6    Pieces dried mango; cut in
           - strips
 
  One at a time, wrap the fruit-leather pieces around the
  Twinkie pieces. Place the wrapped Twinkie pieces upright
  on a serving tray or in a bento box.
  
  Place the dried fruits and candies into the creme filling.
  Garnish the tray with strips of dried mango to resemble
  pickled ginger. Serve with chopsticks, if you wish.
  
  Serves 6
