Dessert is a sometimes thing for us, too...  more often a bit of ice
cream or a cookie to round out a lighter meal, but once in a while, an
intended treat....  :)

Ours was in the basement... that was fine, until first the washer had
issues, and then the drain for the set tub that it drained into decided
to clog and the tub started to leak... plus it was more than I could
handle by myself anyway, so we got into the habit of just taking it all
to the laundromat every few weeks or so.... get it all done at once...
and have some extra "together" time...  ;)

Yes, she's the youngest of the Archer Home School... my sister taught
all of her kids, with some enrichment courses from various sources...
the kids were able to participate in the local schools sports and music
programs as they were interested...

My niece has joined our church's praise ensemble, too... it's only once
a month...

Simple can be good, too...  :)  But sometimes a little complexity is
nice, too... :)  I ended up buying twice as much as we actually needed
for my niece's reception... so Lydia took a bunch home after... but we
didn't run out of materials... ;)  BTW, I misremembered on the
Welch's... it wasn't Welch's Orchard (as I think now, I think that might
have apple in it intentionally), it was the new Welch's 100% juice
Farmer's Pick.  The Blackberry flavor is made from grape, pear and
blackberry juices.  The Mixed Berry flavor, though, has apple in it...

It can be a lot of work, for sure...  At least we have lots of us to do
the work, and I think we had some help in the kitchen from some of our
church family for both the 50th and their 60th.  What would have been
their 61st turned into Daddy's memorial service, so the church ladies
put on the reception afterwards...
