I've run into a few of those.  The Asian grocery nearby 
often has whatever it is though, sometimes in odd places 
in the store.

It may have related to the weight of the nickel rather 
than the price of the item but there's no way to be sure.

It's a thought for the next one.  I have another smaller 
one I use for that.
