Ah.. my fault.  I corrected a typo thinking the scanner had not read my first
message yet.  I was wrong I guess. :)

I like sushi, and it is pretty non-problemic for a lot of people with allergies
here.. I don't eat sashimi often if ever (raw fish).  My daughter likes that
quite a bit.

I know what you mean about "a lot of work".. I think I made dim-sum once and
that was enough work for me (G)

hehe.. you are like Ron.. he can't stand avocado.  I love it. One night I made
the lettuce-rollup recipe below for dinner and he really liked it (I was
shocked)!

hehe it is indeed "separtist rice".  For sushi you really need sticky-short
grain rice.  It is what holds the rolls together so they can be sliced.

It's the green seaweed "paper" that one would see on the outside of sushi
(unless it's the inside-out sushi, then the nori is on the inside of the
sushi).  It is made from seaweed and formed into sheets using a method similar
to making paper from what I understand :)

When you make sushi, you mix a few cups of sticky-rice with sweetened
rice-vinegar, then you can press the rice onto the sheet of nori and it will
stay put when you roll up the sushi.

==Tilapia Lettuce Wrap Recipe==
I used salmon fillet for this recipe. Jk

Ingredients
    Head of Boston Lettuce
    1 Avocado
    Hummus
    Shredded Carrot
    Grape Tomatos
    Tilapia (or any other white fish)
    Olive Oil (for cooking fish)

Directions

Cook fish over medium heat in a non-stick sauce pan. Drizzle with a little
olive oil, and then cook on one side until golden brown and then flip to the
other side. Once cooked allow to cool. Wash vegetables, and take the largest
lettuce leafs and lay them on a plate Layer lettuce leaf with diced avocado,
hummus, shredded carrot, and grape tomatoes.
Top with fish and serve.
