Nancy Backus pointed out to me the error of my Telnet entry. That has been
corrected.

I scan that (local conference 2) in my OLR set-up. But, I'm old and if I don't
act on things right away they sometimes get away from me as soon as they are
gone from surface memory.

And we (most of us) appreciate it. Even if you never did get my state right in
the list of contributors.

You are just trying to sound like me.  Bv)=  I get moderated fairly regularly
for snarky comments. Like you, I do not suffer fools gladly. And I wear proudly
the appellation "Curmudgeon".

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Gabure (Basque Old Style Soup)
 Categories: Lamb/mutton, Poultry, Citrus, Herbs, Vegetables
      Yield: 3 servings

      5 c  Water
      1 lg Chicken thigh; skin on
      1 tb (ea) black peppercorns, salt
      1    Whole lemon peel
      1    (2" - 3") stick cinnamon
      1    Long sprig fresh basil
    1/2 md Head green cabbage; in chunks
      1 lb Lamb shank; w/bone
      1 c  Green onion; chopped
      1 cl Garlic; minced
    1/4 c  Fresh apple; diced

  In large 4 qt to 6 qt soup pot, add in water, chicken,
  salt and pepper. With dental floss or cooking twine, tie
  together peel, cinnamon and basil. Add to pot. Allow
  mixture to medium boil for approximately 25 min. Squeeze
  out and remove chicken, then remove tied spice. Reduce
  heat to simmer, and add in remaining ingredients. Allow to
  cook on low for another 2 hours.
