Seems to be.  When I was with her Saturday, and again yesterday, she's
doing much better at the walking... pretty decent strides even, and the
right foot properly going beyond the left... i think she's further along
now in recovery than she was when she fell and broke her hip during the
bowel surgery recovery...  :)  On Saturday, Lydia had 9 pies to bake and
a wedding cake to make, frost and decorate for a Sunday wedding (she
does it as a sideline business), so I was there to keep Mommy company
and do the easy stuff so Lydia could focus on the job at hand... :)  And
yesterday was Mommy's 86th birthday and we had a family party for her...
Lydia made her spinach and her corn quiches, Mary Grace made a chicken
potpie... and Lydia made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting at
Mommy's request...  :)  It was just MG and husband Marty, me and
Richard, and one of Lydia's girls (Bonnie) along with Lydia and Mommy of
course... Some of the local family were traveling back from being out of
town... others were still out of town...

Sometimes that's just as nice...  ;)  I finally got my car back, fixed,
today...  HURRAY....!!!   Now I can have my freedom back...  :)

Yup...  A number of the people I was taking care of before have had that
sort... very convenient on a lot of levels... even if they can be a
little tricky to maneuver into the car when one is transporting... ;)
