I really despise overlemoned things (though I enjoy

Yeah, that's what I figured. I might have insisted on a few if
I had been thinking quickly enough.

My most favorite of the three but not by much of a margin.

But not nearly as good.

There wasn't much vanilla. Anyhow, I liked this almost
as much as the cola; my estimation flip-flops, though.

 ML> Really good - If you bit in and chewed, you got something like
 ML> the after-dinner mint experience, but if you let the candy

 ML> by a burst of intense minty honey. Good chocolate and good
 ML> honey and good mint. Can't go wrong.
 NB> None of those left at the end of the week, either...  :)

The last of them departed some days before the end of
the week.

Yeah, that semideliciousness that you couldn't eat and
I couldn't remember.

h - the infusion
2 to 3 saffron threads
1 bottle rum
h - saffron syrup
1 c water
1 c sugar
1 pn saffron
h - the cocktail
2 oz saffron rum
1/2 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz grapefruit juice
1/2 oz saffron syrup
h - the garnish
Solerno blood orange liqueur
maraschino cherry

Infuse saffron threads in rum for 2 days; remove threads.

Boil water and sugar until a syrup is formed. Add saffron.

Shake cocktail ingredients and double strain into chilled
cocktail glass. Add a mist of Solerno and garnish with
maraschino cherry.
