MSG overload (more than a tiny smidgen) makes my face glow cherry red and gives
me a horrid case of cotton mouth that gallons of water won't assuage.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Toe Jam Jams
 Categories: Cookies, Desserts, Snacks, Fruits
      Yield: 12 Jammers

    1/2 c  Molasses
      1 ts Baking soda
      1 lg Egg
      2 c  Flour; more as needed
      1 ts Vanilla
    1/2 c  Raspberry jam
      1 c  Butter
    1/2 ts Salt
    1/2 c  Brown sugar
      3 tb Hot water

  Cream together butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg and
  molasses until fluffy.

  Add soda with water, salt and vanilla.

  Stir in eough flour to make a stiff dough for rolling.

  Roll out 1/8" thick and cut in circles about 1 1/2" dia.

  Bake at 350oF/175oC for 8 to 10 minutes.

  Cool on wire racks.

  When cool put together in pairs with jam in the middle.
