Maybe something like here - owner occupied homes get a "homestead exemption"
that rental property does not enjoy. In will qualify for that as well as the
olde phart's discount and, just possibly, the handicapped exemption -- since I
do have a handicapped parking placard for my car. But, since I've not been
adjudged "disabled" by Social Security ...........

About what I thought. While I eat the occasional meatless meal - it will never
become common with me.

      Title: False Alarm Vegetable Chilli (?)
 Categories: Stews, Chilies, Beans
      Yield: 10 Servings
 
      2 tb Olive oil
      1 md Onion; chopped
      1 md Green bell pepper; seeded,
           - in 1/2" pieces
      1 md Red bell pepper; seeded, in
           - 1/2" pieces
      1 lg Carrot; chopped medium
      1    Jalapeno; seeded, minced
           +=OR=+
    1/4 c  Drained, canned, chopped,
           - green chilies
      2 cl Garlic; minced
      1 lb Dried lentils; rinsed
    1/3 c  Tomato paste
     15 oz Can red kidney beans;
           - drained, rinsed
     15 oz Pinto beans; drained, rinsed
     20 oz Can stewed tomatoes
    1/3 c  Chilli spice
      4 ts Ground cumin
    1/4 ts Crushed red-pepper flakes
    1/4 ts (ea) salt & ground pepper
 
  This is one of Joe Bonanno's most popular firehouse dishes.
  Choose a chilli spice that suits your taste for heat. Leave
  the pot uncovered during simmering to allow excess water to
  evaporate and the chilli to thicken.
  
  In a large soup pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add
  onion, green and red peppers, carrot, jalapeno pepper, and
  garlic. Cook until the vegetables soften, about 5 minutes.
  Stir in 7 cups water, lentils, tomato paste, kidney beans,
  and pinto beans. Stir to blend, adding stewed tomatoes,
  chilli spice, cumin, and crushed red-pepper flakes.
  
  Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer
  until lentils are tender, about 45 minutes. If the chili
  starts to dry out, add hot water as needed. Season with salt
  and pepper, and serve immediately.
