ahhh! i read the original story and recipe years ago but just didn't go back
and look again this time around...

we like wings but i find myself going for BBQ wings with ranch dressing these
days... blue cheese just seems bitter with the wings that we've gotten... dad
buys some bags of "hot wings" at times but i don't like them... too hot or just
otherwise yucky when cooked in the oven as called for... i prefer to make my
own and will bread or batter some for the oil pot some times but we eat those
plain unless one of us wants to put something on them... if i do, it is
generally 57 sauce or maybe a chipolte that we've found and like pretty well...
