Odd that.  Apparently the retail segment hasn't noticed what the
population shifts have been...

It's always, in my experience (ie not from the very beginning of its
existence), been some sort of an audience participation show.  One
didn't have to participate, one could just watch the rest of the
audience as part of the spectacle...  And, if one was staff, one also
got to clean up the mess...  Gwen thought it was worth it, at least at
that point... She was less enthusiastic some years later when the art
theatre she was then working at brought it in, as by then it had evolved
to include a rather raunchy stage show in front of the screen, which she
was rather revolted by.  Dunno if that was happening everywhere, or just
here in Rochester...  I haven't actually gone to view it once Gwen and
Paul gave up on trying to run the Coronet, and the film moved elsewhere. 

I haven't really been paying attention lately... it probably is still
being shown somewhere locally, but I don't know where, or how it may
have further evolved...  ;0   Maybe we could research that when you are
here...?  ;)
