That's true; we could go there for a farewell dinner. Having room in the
fridge for boxes of leftovers plus what we planned to cook and eat
otherwise over the week end (We'd do a long week end gathering.) could
be tight. Even with food for just 2 people, fridge room gets tight at
times. I sometimes have to take the flours out for shart term storage on
the counter tip.

They're a "destination restaurant" in the area, and near enough to the
airport that people will fly in early or out late if they've got to be
in town, so they can have a meal there. I can understand that.

She probably thought we'd enjoy a night out, and yes, we did. Afterward
we went to the nearby mall, priced out replacing the synthetic rubies in
my ring with real ones. That'll happen eventually, but not tomorrow.
