============
Hi Nancy,

RH> A lot easier in the long run. And, the company was on the ball,
RH> notifying us right away about it. Sometimes they've called us when
RH> we've been travelling and run up more than normal for us type charges
RH> in a place like LV.

NB> It's good to have a company that pays attention... :)

Definately. especially with all sorts of identity theft issues that you
hear about.

RH> We've used it for Christmas shopping--doing it there is easier than
RH> doing it here and having to carry everything when we're going out
 RH> for Christmas anyway.

NB> Makes sense... and you can get family input on the fly that way, too,
NB> especially things like sizes and particular grandchild requests... :)

As we have done. Last time we went out for Christmas, we got both girls
a Keurig like ours, and it was good timing as Deborah had broken the
carafe on her coffee pot a few days before.

NB> NB>> Hawaiian goodies any more under their terms or to meet their
 NB> NB>> requirements...

RH> I've no idea but it means we have to contact people out in HI (or
RH> check Amazon) for some things we like to have.

NB> That's the trouble with getting used to stuff.. you move, and it's not
NB> so easily accessible anymore... (G)

Been there, done that enough times that the tee shirt is well worn.

NB> NB>> It's not actually all that bad... the Beltways of Baltimore and
NB> DC are NB>> definitely worse, as is anywhere in Boston... ;) Steve
NB> might have NB>> some problems with the limited vision, though, I'll
 NB> grant you...

RH> We try to avoid the DC/Baltimore area if we're not to Shipps or on up
RH> to NJ. We'll take the bypass around the western part and on up north.
RH> In May, we'd been on the bypass about half an hour when my brother
RH> called, asking if we could go to NJ to pick up some paperwork from my
RH> aunt. We couldn't, without a major detour, so continued on--turned out,
RH> the paperwork wasn't that vital after all.

NB> That worked out ok, then... :)

Yes, thankfully.

 NB> NB>> coconut...?
NB> RH>> Still waiting. Maybe this week will be less hectic.
 NB> NB>> We shall see... ;)

RH> He drilled out the eyes Monday night and when he drained the water, I
RH> said it didn't look too good. Then he cracked it open and found it
RH> wasn't good, and had probably started going bad before we bought it.
RH> We'd had it long enough that it wasn't worth returning so just tossed
 RH> it out.

NB> And probably won't be buying another from the same place, either...?
 NB> ;)

Most likely not.

NB> RH>> Maybe; I missed the market this week. Steve had a conference and
NB> I was RH>> cooking for our church picnic. It was also raining like
NB> anything and I RH>> didn't want to schlep bags & an umbrella in it so
NB> decided to stay in. NB>> Can't blame you there at all... :)

RH> Much better for my disposition. (G)

 NB> I imagine so...! (G)

But I made the market today, under a light misty drizzle and replenished
my veggies. Only a few vendors were there; we've had rain every day for
close to 2 weeks so it's been hard for the farmers. I got some baby bok
choy, romaine, some zucchini and yellow squash, green beans, red
potatoes, green peppers and some sweet potato greens. Good eating this
week--I already used one of the red potatoes in the beef stew I made for
supper.

RH> Down to just sewing on the buttons, had other things take up time I
RH> could have used for that. Maybe tonight after "Jeopardy" I'll get them
 RH> sewn on.

NB> Not enough light to sew them on while watching Jeopardy...? ;)

No, want to concentrate on the show. I got the buttons sewn on and the
shirt (as well as another one) were picked up today, with a bonus for
the fast turn around.

NB> RH>> Yes, and pick as they ripen. We've got 3 nice ones on the solo
NB> plant RH>> that should start turning color any day. Might make a nice
 NB> 'mater RH>> sandwich from them. (G)
 NB> NB>> Yum... :)

RH> That, or a nice thick BLT, but not an MLT.

 NB> M....? Mushroom....?

Never seen "The Princess Bride"? Mutton, lettuce and tomato.

Catch you later,
