If you do it in half-pints and a hot water bath - it ought to keep fairly well.

Being as I seldom cook for more than 1 to 3 people at a time - I'd adjust that
by half. And, as I said above - half-pints give you a chance to enjoy the sauce
without getting tired of it until you're ready to open another jar for your
breakfast toast. Or waffles.

      Title: Whole Wheat Waffles
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
  1 1/3 c  Whole wheat flour
    3/4 ts Salt
      2 ts Baking powder
      2 tb Sugar
      1 c  Milk
      4 tb Melted shortening
      2 lg Eggs
 
  Beat egg yolks well; add milk and shortening. Combine
  salt, sugar, and flour. Add to first mixture. Beat
  until smooth. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Sift
  baking powder lightly over the mixture and fold in
  quickly. Bake in hot waffle iron.
  
  Makes 6 servings.
