Yep. I'm not paying so much attention any more, and
this posting online makes it easy to hit an enter
button too soon without checking, q.v.

Not sure that a jr chem set would do much for
complex organic compounds. Easier to feed it
to someone who wouldn't be missed.

There are relatively few meats that won't interchange.

Okay, maybe not the best possible examples. How

The things are glorious. Almost every one. And
the ones that aren't probably could be if you
shined the right light on them.

Irony of ironies - so we planned this trip, my colleague
Dave and I would fly out the 18th and return the 24th.
He wasn't so sure, so I arranged a changeable ticket for
him and to save resources an unchangeable one for me.

Then Gunther died, and his memorial service was scheduled
for the 19th, so I changed Dave's ticket (Dave used to
play in one of Gunther's bands, and I used to serve on
some of his committees, so we might both be sort of
expected to attend any such annoying festivities) so he 
could be there and then get on the plane first thing the 
20th and meet me at his niece's place here. Yesterday, 
he arrived right on schedule, so I asked how the service
had gone, and guess what? It was postponed until tomorrow,
so all that effort for naught.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.02

      Title: Jalapeno Corn Casserole
 Categories: Casseroles, Cheese/eggs, Kooknet
      Yield: 4 servings

     17 oz Corn, Canned
     17 oz Creamed Corn, Canned
    1/2 c  Corn Meal
      2 ea Eggs
      6 tb Wesson Oil
      1 ts Garlic Salt
      2 ea Jalapenos, Chopped
    1/2 ea Onion, Chopped
      8 oz Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour in greased casserole.

  2. Bake 40 minutes at 350øF.

  3. Cover with cheese and put back in oven long enough for cheese to
  melt.
