They really tanked in Canada. I tried KK once when they arrived in
Edmonton; I really disliked their product. The dough was somehow
tough and the doughnuts really greasy. At last report there were just
6 surviving franchises.

Of course Tim Hortons is huge here and firmly entrenched. Their
style of doughnuts is quite similar to Dunkin' Doughnuts. But Tim
Hortons floundered in the US (859 locations, but dropping, with a
few more locations shut down today) and Dunkin' didn't do well in
Canada (merely 4 surviving locations).

      Title: Filet Mignon with Sauteed Onions
 Categories: Beef, Steak, Wine, Low-cal, Onion
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 ts Cracked pepper
    1/2 ts Salt
      2    Cloves garlic; minced
      4 X  4 oz beef tenderloin steaks,
      1    Inch thick
           Cooking spray
      1 c  Thinly sliced onion;
           Separated
    2/3 c  Dry red wine
      2 tb Steak sauce
 
  Combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl; rub both sides of
  beef with pepper mixture.  Place beef on a broiler pan coated with
  cooking spray; broil 5 minutes on each side or until desired
  degree of doneness.  Set aside; keep warm.
  
  Place a medium nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over
  medium-high heat.  Add onion to skillet; cover and cook 5 minutes,
  stirring occasionally.  Remove onion from skillet; set aside and
  keep warm.  Add wine to skillet, scraping pan to loosen the
  browned bits. Cook over medium-high heat until reduce to 1/3 cup
  (about 1 minute), and stir in steak sauce.  Spoon wine sauce over
  steaks, top with onion.
