I began drinking my coffee black - because that's the way my Granddad (who was
my hero) drank it. Then when I was thumb-tripping around the American landscape
I discovered that cream and a lot of sugar in a nickle (this was a looooong
time ago) cup of coffee, especially if there were refills, could substitute for
a meal. Took a while after I came off the road to wean myself off of the sugar
and cream/milk. Now, I still don't sweeten the brew - but, if it's especially
nasty I might add a bit of whitener to dull the razor blades of bitterness.

Any mower would do that.

The real benefit is not having to clean your shoes as you probably would have
had to do after pushing a walk-behind mower around the pooch pen. 
 
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Uncle Dirty Dave's Cincinnati Hot Dog Sauce
 Categories: Sauces, Snacks, Udd, Chilies, Beef
      Yield: 1 Recipe
 
      3 lb Coarse ground chilli beef
      2 tb Bacon drippings
      1 pt Beef broth (unsalted)
 10 1/2 oz Can tomato puree
      1 ts Hot chile sauce
      1    Chile pepper pod; more to
           - taste
      2 lg Onions; coarse chopped
      2 cl Garlic; fine chopped
      3 tb Chilli spice (heaping)
      1 tb Oregano
      1 tb Cumin
      1 ts Paprika
      1 ts Ground mustard
    1/4 ts Cayenne
      1 ts Salt
    1/2 ts Allspice
      3    Cloves; ground
      1 ts Cinnamon
 
  Brown meat; add bacon drippings and cook 5 minutes. Put
  onion and garlic into blender with enough of the beef broth
  to let the blender chop the stuff fine. Pour into pan with
  the meat and add leftover broth, tomato puree, hot sauce,
  pepper, onion and garlic; simmer 30 minutes. Add rest of
  the ingredients and simmer slowly for 1 to 2 hours.
  
  Serve on hot dogs, bratwurst or Polish sausage. Top with raw
  onion, grated sharp Cheddar cheese and plenty of cold beer
  (root or real).
