She had a goal in mind... even if it may have changed as things
developed... :)  And it appears that she has good places to use the
skills and training she's accumulated...  ;)  I suspect that Mommy
didn't really have a goal in mind other than the learning for the
learning's sake... She married at 17 after one year of college, and
raised a large family... and mostly found her place being Daddy's other
half...  He was quite supportive of her going after the learning, and
probably wouldn't have stopped her had she gone after some sort of a
career afterwards, but as far as I know, she never really looked for a
library job after the second Masters, or for something that would use
her musicology degrees... She taught piano outside the house for a
while, and then took care of Daddy as long as she was able when he got
Parkinsons... DIfferent aspirations, I guess..  :)
