My first experience with saccharine was at my grandparent's house. My
grandmother used these little white tablets to sweeten her tea. So, I assumed
that if I put one in my mouth it would be a Mary Poppins experience. Boy, was I
wrong! Bitter like I couldn't believe and hard to get rid of the after taste.

It was hard enough on clear liquids for the 36 hours before the procedure.
There are too many Oriental restaurants and steak places I pass by in my normal
course of travel. Just one whiff of the exhaust fan's effluvia was setting my
stomach to howling for solid, tasty food. Chicken broth just didn't cut it.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Mary Poppins
 Categories: Beverages, Booze, Citrus, Fruits
      Yield: 1 shooter

      1 oz Dark rum
      1 oz Apricot brandy
      2 oz Apricot brandy liqueur
      2 oz Orange juice
    1/4 oz Pineapple juice
    1/4 oz Creme de cassis

  Pour the dark rum, apricot brandy and juices into a
  cocktail shaker half-filled with ice. Shake well and pour
  into a collins glass. Top up with ice and drizzle the
  creme de cassis and grenadine over the top. Serve.
