Well, yeah. Apparently it came from their distribution centre that way. The DC 
got it, no doubt, that way as well. It gonna be tough to find the culprit. The 
Target store replaced the item with a "realie" that they opened to check, 
refunded the price of the block of wood version and threw in an additional 
$100 gift card. The kids mother is still whinging about her 8 year old son 
having his faith in Santa destroyed. Which rings false to my ears/eyes. When I 
was eight I knew for sure that Santy Pants was a myth. And that was in 1950 - 
well before the universally connected, information age. All we had was the 
school-yard telegraph.   Bv)=

I think what Mom was really crying about was the realisation that her "baby" 
is growing up - with all that implies.

So, the charity got 2 gross of men's footwear PLUS someone got a freebie 
bathing costume - all for the same money? Or did they just get the shipment 
replaced, sans the bikini, after returning the whole schmear?

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Swimming Angels
 Categories: Oriental, Rice, Greens, Nuts, Chilies
      Yield: 4 servings

      2 c  Uncooked sushi rice
      4 c  Water
    2/3 c  Peanut butter
      1 c  Hot water
      2 tb Soy sauce
      2 tb Rice vinegar
      3 tb White sugar
      3 cl Garlic; minced
      3    Green onions; chopped
    1/2 tb Red pepper flakes
     10 oz Bag baby spinach leaves
      8 oz Pkg baked tofu; in  bite
           - sized pieces *

  Combine the rice and 4 cups of water in a saucepan and
  bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer
  until rice is tender and water has been absorbed, about 20
  minutes.

  In a separate saucepan, whisk together the peanut butter,
  1 cup hot water, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic,
  green onions and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over
  medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, and adding more
  hot water 1/4 cup at a time to maintain a pourable
  consistency.

  Bring about 1" of water to a boil in a large pot. Place
  the spinach and tofu into a steamer basket and set over
  the boiling water. Cover and steam until spinach has
  wilted and tofu is heated through, about 7 minutes.

  TO SERVE: Place spinach and tofu over white rice and
  smother in peanut sauce.

  * you may substitute meat if you wish.
