Hi Nancy,

>> hahaha :) Nah, my swipes are a spoonful, that's about it (g).. I

> It's an every two-three months item for us, depends on how much cashew

A 3/4 lb tub of peanut butter from Wegman's lasts us a week.. maybe.. (g) Ron
says "minimally" :)

>> Wraps are good generally.. I found a number of them that were

I guess that's why I like the spoon Lol

That's interesting.. Tea we drink as is, nothing added. When someone is ill
with a flu, then I'll add honey and lemon, but that's it. I expect it would be
very hard to get used to drinking tea that way, if you've never done it before
though. We buy very flavorful teas as well, not the 'lipton' type. Our
favorite in the morning is Numi Organic Chinese Breakfast Tea, the whole Numi
organic line is great though. Also we buy a lot of Republic of Tea's fruit
teas, like bluberry, etc. These are generally green teas though some are black
tea.

>> > Always a good amount to do to make a place yours once you move in.

> We'll have to see it sometime.

Would be good :) It's a large kitchen, but probably not as large as the one in
Windsor. The problem I have with the cuboards is with the majority of the lower
cabinets. The couple who owned the home before us installed the "new" kitchen
about 6 years ago which is great, but unfortuately the wife _really_ liked
those slide out drawers in just about every cabinet in the kitchen below the
counter level. :) They are impractible if you have a lot of oddly sized "toys"
that need a place to go. If all you bought were canned items and short
bottle/tin items, they could work well I suppose.

>>> back yard in bloom with incredible colors.. one section of the yard
>>> after the other :) Luckily, the section along the side of the house
>>> were we fenced in the dogs did not include any of those beautiful
>>> flowering plants :)

>> > Nice! Did he plant a kitchen garden as well?

>> Just a small patch where he planted some Italian tomatoes. I'll use
>> that patch for some herbs and tomatoes next year.

> I'd like to try tomatoes again but don't know where we'll be next year.
> We decided to not try any this year because we knew we'd be travelling
> this summer.

Understand that one.

>> > basically no heat so I've zinged it up, more to our tastes now. It's
>> > back in NC so I can't post it right now, sorry.

>> Understand :) Well if you get a chance to post it that would be
>> great.

> Remind me in a couple of weeks.

Is that hot sauce the one you folks sent to a picnic perhaps last year or the
previous picnic over here? That sauce had some heat :) Steve or you did post
that recipe and I have it here somewhere ;)

>> That's neat. Sugar content would be controllable just as your hot
>> chili sauce is if you grabbed some tomato paste and made your own.

>>> often made my own with little sugar, but generally we buy non-HFCS

> If I were that much into ketchup I'd consider it.

hehe.. We don't go through as much ketchup as we do peanut butter, thank
goodness (g).

Take care,
Janis
