It's less of a sacrifice when one weighs the risk/benefit ratio... and
when one knows how to balance the indulgence, it's more a calculation,
as well...  :)

That's how my grandmother's church was back in the day... in Annapolis,
they tended to draw quite a few midshipmen from the Academy... but also
drew from the faculty, among whom was my uncle who had been instrumental
in getting the church started in the first place...  :)  And as well,
there were others from the civilian population looking for a good
church... :)
