But, I had my A1C checked today and it was 5.1, down from 5.4 in
Spetember. Then too, with the travel we'd done in July and August, I was
drinking more sodas than normal. I was better able to avoid them more on
the recent trip.

Yes, but it does take determination and a bit of effort to make sure I
eat properly. Not everybody is willing to put the effort into it to keep
it under control.

We might have the opportunity to find out for ourselves in a couple of
years. Heard on the news Tuesday that Wegman's is looking to buy some
property in Cary, (west of Raleigh) which would put them about an hour
away from us. A store wouldn't be open until next year at the earliest
but there is hope.
