Today (Saturday) we had a total of about 26 inches.  I went out with the
snow blower three times.  At 10 am we had more than a foot.  Each of the
other two times at 3-4 hour intervals, we had more than four inches.  It
might have almost stopped by now, but Sunday Morning I'll probably have
to blow another four to six inches off the driveway.  Sidewalks are
another issue -- they are currently at waist high.

Maybe this will light up your life a little -- note the fourth and fifth
ingredients.  I would omit the sixth, but that is up to you.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Thai Larb
 Categories: Thai, Meat, Chicken
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      2 tb Peanut oil (or more as
           -needed)
  2 1/2 lb Ground chicken (or other
           -meat)
  1 1/2 c  Finely chopped onion
    1/4 c  Grated fresh ginger
      5    Fresh hot chile peppers
           -(according to your tastes)
           -jalapenos or serranos
  1 1/2 c  Torn fresh cilantro leaves
           -(well washed!)
    3/4 c  Fresh lime juice
      6 tb Asian fish sauce
      2 tb Sugar
      3 tb Hot water
           -salt to taste
    3/4 c  Chopped roasted peanuts
           -(optional)
      2    Heads napa cabbage,
           -separated into leaves
 
  PREPARATION:
  Heat the oil in a wok or large skillet over medium high heat until
  almost smoking. In batches cook the ground chicken meat until
  browned, breaking it up thorougly. If the chicken throws
  off too much liquid, spoon it out, if it begins to stick
  to the pan add a little more oil. Transfer teh cooked
  chicken to a bowl and let cool (I never let it cool). Add
  the onion, ginger, chiles, and cilantro and toss well.
  In a small bowl, combine the lime juice, fish sauce, sugar
  and water and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add to the
  chickend mixture and toss well. Season with salt if needed.
  To eat, put meat on cabbage leaf and eat like a thai taco!
