In future I have resolved to stay at the Hampton, which
treats me nicely enough, and the accommodations are nice
enough; but go across the street to the Radisson for
drinks and food, as it has a real bar and a real kitchen.
But with my luck one of the trainees will be behind the bar.

Sad to see that done with good whiskey, isn't it.

Okay ... If I go back to the bar at the Hampton and keep harassing
the poor ditzy bartender, who keeps messing up my order and allowing
me to drink her mistakes, can I get unlimited buzz for minimal
outlay? Or would that be considered unfair.

 Now, if I order a
 BF> "Maker's Mark on the rocks" and throw out the ice, that should put
 BF> almost exactly the right amount of water in the MM... plus a bonus of
 BF> more B&B.

I'm not sure how that works!

Pommy punch
cat: booze, airline
servings: 15-20

2 lemons, sliced
3 big handfuls seedless red grapes, halved
40 canned lychees with syrup
8 oz lemon juice
25 oz pomegranate juice
25 oz Jacob's Creek dry Riesling
15 oz Beefeater gin
blocks of ice
soda water

Place fruit in punchbowl. Add juices and alcohols.
Steep 30 min in a cool place. Add ice and soda
water to taste.
