Aesthetically displeasing but not likely to be harmful. And
we've been talking about the current trend toward germophobia.
Today's tap water, from Arlington, Mass., is delicious (part of
this may be the Lasix talking), but my hosts use a Brita filter
on it anyhow.

Sometimes it's not a preference but a necessity.

 RH> If we were with others who waned to go, we'd go and find something on

Bar food has evolved over the years to the degree that some
of it is no longer so frightening. Drinks, too.

2 ts Grenadine
1/3 c Orange juice *
1/3 c Pineapple juice *
Ice cubes
Lemon slice; for garnish

* approximate amounts, depends on the size of the glass

Choose a large, well shaped, stemmed glass. Put a layer
of grenadine in the bottom of the glass. Fill glass with
ice cubes (important). Pour equal amounts of orange and
pineapple juice over the ice cubes. Top with a lemon
slice. Add a dash of grenadine on top. Voila! A
beautiful sunset!

M would halve the grenadine.
