I hear you...  yeah, I've seen that too...  And where we think it might
be helpful to complain, we'll do it quietly and reasonably...  Depending
on the place, "spin" might just be cause to never be back... We tend not
to get noisy...

The buffet model and the order at the counter seem to be fairly low-risk
operations.. one sees the latter pop up everywhere, and no lack of the
former...

There was a sushi place in a local strip-type mall that we had thought
to try... we walked in, were assailed by a rancid fishy smell... and
walked right back out...  Even had the product been faultless, the pong
was undeniably bad...

From cutesy to dignified again... ;)  I presume that they get a fairly
steady clientele of state office workers, at least for the lunch
hour...?  As long as they keep up a good quality standard, it bodes well
for them...  :)
